Detailed description of Springfield Golf Course
Springfield Golf Course is a Resort 18 hole golf course located in Chandler, Arizona.
Designed by Fore Golf, the Springfield golf course opened in 1996.
This eighteen hole, par 61, executive course is traditional in design and features a mixture of desert-style holes. The fairways are tight, and the greens are average in size and heavily undulated. Water comes into play on a few holes, and there are a few trees lining the fairways.
Par for the course is 61. From the back tees the course plays to 4,232 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 3,467 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 1, a par-4 that plays to 390 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 14, a par-3 that plays to 135 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 1, a 390 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 14, a 135 yard par-3.

Course is under new management so they are in the process of making much needed improvements. Nice to see the course being taken better care of, and it's an excellent value for the money.
